Our Story
Haul Country Junk Removal & Cleanouts was built on more than just hauling — it was built on purpose, family values, and a passion for helping people.
We are a husband-and-wife team who genuinely love the feeling of transformation and instant results. There’s something powerful about walking into a space that feels overwhelming and leaving it clean, clear, and stress-free for someone else. That’s what drives us every day.
Before starting Haul Country, Ian spent over 15 years in the automotive industry, and I built my career in the beauty industry for over a decade. Throughout those years, we both worked for companies where we saw opportunities for things to be done differently — better systems, better culture, and a stronger focus on people.
With Ian’s support, I took the leap and opened my own salon, where we created a business centered around both clients and employees. We built a structure focused on work-life balance, offering a 3-day work week with full-time pay and benefits, and every quarter we give back by supporting a family in need or a local organization.
As we grew, we realized those same values could extend far beyond the beauty industry.
That’s how Haul Country was created.
Junk removal isn’t just about hauling things away — it’s about creating relief, fresh starts, and new beginnings. We saw an opportunity to build a company that delivers immediate impact for our clients while also doing things the right way behind the scenes.
Instead of simply dumping everything, we take the time to sort through items and donate what we can to local families, individuals starting over, and organizations that truly need it — not large corporations that resell donations for profit.

We price based on how much space your items take up in our trailer, along with weight and item type. This allows us to keep pricing fair and transparent for every job.

Certain items require additional handling, disposal, or recycling fees based on local landfill and transfer station pricing.

Items We Do Not Accept
We handle most non-hazardous items, but for safety, labor, and equipment limitations, we are unable to remove the following:

Hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, oils, etc.)

Paint (liquid or open containers)

Asbestos or materials containing asbestos

Medical or biohazard waste

Pressurized tanks (propane, gas cylinders)

Explosives or flammable materials

Large quantities of loose dirt, sand, or gravel (without prior approval)

Oversized or extremely heavy items requiring specialized equipment (such as hot tubs, pianos, or safes)
